Tom Geiger House
In 1990 the former Assumption Church elementary school in Walnut Hills was transformed into 12 one, two and three bedroom apartments for use as long-term transitional housing for homeless battered women and their children. Referrals along with supportive services are provided through our partnership with the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati Transitional Living Program (TLP). The women come from the YWCA women’s shelters to live in Geiger House for up to 18 months as they transition from emergency shelter to self-sufficiency and sustainable lives in permanent housing.
Gertrude House
Built in 2000, also on the former Assumption Church property, with 12 two and three bedroom apartments for use as transitional housing for homeless battered women and their children as an expansion of our Geiger House partnership program with the YWCA TLP.
Josephine House
Originally purchased and renovated in 2004 with 6 two and three bedroom apartments in Mt. Auburn that now are used as permanent housing for homeless women and their children. Referrals along with supportive services are provided by other members of the Cincinnati / Hamilton County Continuum of Care for the Homeless.

Bokenkotter House
The former Assumption Church gymnasium on the Walnut Hills Geiger / Gertrude properties was renovated in 2006 into 12 two bedroom apartments for use as A.D.A. compliant permanent housing for homeless families with disabilities. Referrals along with supportive services are provided by other members of the Cincinnati/Hamilton County Continuum of Care for the Homeless.
